Siobhan Farrelly

I’m a specialist teacher and dyslexia assessor, working face to face across London and the West Midlands, or online.

My story

  1. I qualified as a teacher.

  2. I became a SENCo, and my interest in dyslexia began.

  3. After more than twenty years in schools and local authority teams, including ten years as a specialist teacher in an autism team, I set up SEND Consultancy.

  4. I became an independent assessor for the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity (opens in a new tab).

I assess children, young people and adults.

I have particular experience of working with:

  • Learners who speak English as an additional language
  • People with more complex needs, where dyslexia sits alongside speech, language and communication needs, DCD, autism, ADHD or mental health difficulties
